Oscar Atkinson Chief Executive Officer
Oscar leads the team at Silicone Arts Labs as they develop innovative products for the cosmetics industry. Drawing on a background in sales and finance, Oscar has built a team to commercialize ground breaking technology with a direct to consumer sales model. In previous a role with FedEx, he managed customer relationships and explored new business initiatives, in the US and overseas. Oscar was a leader in the sales force, focusing on value creation in the supply chain. Drawn to the challenges of growth stage companies, he worked with investors and entrepreneurs at the Nashville Capital Network, an angel investor group, and the family investment office of Pittco Management. Prior to joining Silicone Arts Laboratories, Oscar was with Seacap Financial, an investment bank focused on private company transactions. Atkinson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Kevin Yacoub Director Research and Development
Kevin leads development of a pipeline of new products for Silicone Arts Labs. Kevin has had a uniquely diverse and rewarding career in research, manufacturing, engineering, and general management of silicone-based businesses. Kevin’s broad background in material development and process engineering is a perfect fit for taking new products to market.
Kevin began his career as a silicone chemist for Nusil Corporation where he was responsible for formulating several novel custom silicone materials. After 8 years as a silicone chemist, he embarked on a new career path in research and engineering for medical device manufacturers such as Allergan Medical. His material expertise combined with his broad engineering background is what separates Kevin from other engineering and materials consultants. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of California – Santa Barbara.
Jocelyn Atkinson Chief Marketing Officer
Jocelyn is a serial entrepreneur who is passionate about innovative products that are disruptive and highly scaleable. Jocelyn co-founded Silicone Arts Labs in 2010 and serves as Chief Marketing Officer of the company. Prior to Silicone Arts Labs, she co-founded and served as Chief Strategist at Southern Growth Studio, a growth consultancy focused on launching new products and services. Jocelyn has broad experience across a wide range of industries with deep experience in consumer products. She has advised senior executives on strategic issues in both domestic and international markets for over a decade. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, new product development and market strategy. She brings leadership, candidness, and insight to clients while driving for big ideas. Prior to founding Southern Growth Studio, Atkinson led an innovation team at a start-up mortgage banking technology company and worked in the Strategic Planning and Advanced Media Technology groups at Turner Broadcasting. She is a regular speaker on market strategy and strategic planning and serves as a judge for business plan competitions. Jocelyn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
Chris Copeland Director of Business Development
Chris manages relationships with retail partners and direct to consumer channels. He leverages his sales and marketing expertise to share the powerful story of the company and the transformative nature of our product portfolio. Chris began his career in the financial services industry developing a sales program for a credit union. Chris leads projects with the entrepreneurial spirit that he developed as founder of a Memphis Pedicab Company. In his previous role as a consultant with the skin care direct sales company Rodan + Fields, Chris developed an ability to motivate the performance of thousands of sales representatives. Chris received his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
